I came across this product by a sales reps giving me a sample packet of this moisturizer, and when I first applied the moisturizer to my skin I found that it was a different type of formulation because I found that this moisturizer was sinking into my skin and to my shock it wasn’t sitting on top of my skin. With the cheaper products, they tend to sit on top of your skin and you can feel that it hasn’t sunk into your skin at all. The Estee Lauder Daywear actually left my skin with a nice dewy finish, when I did wash my face before going to bed I found that my skin seemed softer and supple. With most other brands it would feel as if once you wash your face the moisturizer would leave my skin less supple.
What I liked about the Estee Lauder Daywear is that it can be used on all skin types but above all the formulation was different, and I really felt it sink into my skin. The pricing seems like a lot and I wanted to justify paying so much for a moisturizer. How I justified paying for this product is by saying to myself that I wouldn’t purchase any other skincare because I knew this worked really well with my skin. Working behind the counter I knew a full-size product would last roughly three months. So what I did was take the cost of the moisturizer and divided it by three. $60 divide it by 3 months. Which works out to be roughly $20 for 3 months. If you invest in one luxury brand that actually works and not purchase random products that MIGHT work.

Don’t get me wrong the Estee Lauder Daywear is not a perfect moisturizer, the reason for this is because the SPF might not be high enough for some people. I have heard of people complain about that benefit it would have been great if they could have that in the moisturizer.

After using this sample packet once I went out and bought the full product and paid the price for it so I can comfortably say I went out and brought it from Estee Lauders website and the price was the exact same as in the stores.

The best way to look after a combination skin would be to focus on the ph level and keeping it balanced. Because the skin is oily in the Tzone and drier on the cheeks the key is to use products that are formulated for normal to combination skin types. Using a proper cleanser to cleanse the skin would help maintain more balanced skin.
A toner will help remove dead skin cells with a cotton pad, but make sure that the toner you use is formulated for normal to combination skin. It also helps hydrate the drier areas of the skin, and it also helps preps the skin for the correct serum and moisturizer.
You can also use a weekly exfoliator that will help get rid of dead skin cells and deep clean the skin in order to help maintain the ph levels of your skin.
